Theresa will be sharing strategies for cultivating new life skills and the art of applied mindfulness to increase your “mind fitness” to maintain a more centred, calm state and be more productive in life and work.  Just as one would go to a gym to increase physical fitness and build muscle.  Applied mindfulness builds your “mind muscle” and cultivates a mind that will support you to thrive in life, work, relationships and more. 

Mindfulness is a state of mind that involves paying attention to your experience in the present moment in a non-judgemental, open and curious manner.  Rather than worrying about what is going to happen next or ruminating on what happened in the past, mindfulness helps you become more aware of what is actually happening in the present moment and respond in a constructive and nourishing way.

What modalities/intentions are covered and brief description?

Theresa believes mind fitness is crucial in maintaining a well-balanced and happy life in our modern world and shares how meditation saved her own life.  She has been a meditator for over 20 years and studied applied mindfulness with Liana Taylor Clinical Psychologist, Mindfulness Expert and International Speaker in 2009 to become certified in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy with the view to empower her clients with new skills.

She then furthered her studies with The Australian Institute of Applied Mindfulness becoming certified in Mindful Relationships, Mindful Leadership, Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner of Applied Mindfulness.

The Classes are experiential in order to offer the most productive approach with personalised strategies and how to apply mindfulness in daily life  to thrive in all aspects.

The classes are  suitable for beginners to mindfulness and meditation practices.

It is a wonderful way to experience a taste of meditation practices that can offer time for some inner calm, self-nourishment and self-nurture.

What is the investment? 

Normally $150 for the four week program – Introductory Price $97 .

(If you register for the four week program, you also received recorded guided digital meditations that can be downloaded and a copy of Theresa’s popular book called Become your Own Guru, how to live an empowered and meaningful life.) .   

If you wish to try a single session or attend a couple of sessions, the casual introductory investment is $30 per class.

How many people attend?

The classes offer a small group experience to maximise learning, enable an understanding and be able to practice, so that participants can take what they’ve learnt and apply it immediately in a practical way into their life.

There is a maximum of 8 participants.

Is there any follow up support? 

 Theresa is always available to chat further and offer additional support.

What is the cancellation policy?

Due to the small number of places available there is no refund if you choose to cancel your place. You can transfer your purchase to another person, use your ticket for another retreat or put it towards another service that Theresa offers.

When should I arrive? 

We suggest arriving as early as 15 minutes prior to allow registration to be completed and settle in.

What happens if I show up late?

We will start promptly at 7pm, so please do your best to show up on time. If you happen to be late, please sit down quietly.
